Yes, when nerds vacation, they go to museums. Or at least that's what we do. We spent the morning in the West building of the
National Gallery of Art. Every time I go to our free, world-class, museums in DC I feel guilty about not taking advantage of them more often, and resolve to visit them much more often. We'll see how that goes. I didn't realize that there was only one
DaVinci painting in the United States, which was
exciting to see. One of our favorite paintings of the day (to joke about) was titled "Incredibly Effeminate Man Surrounded by Lions." Actually, I didn't write down the real title, but Heidi & Randall couldn't avert their gaze:

fabulous hair. We also saw a painting hundreds, even billions, of years old that could have come straight from
