"Done!" aka "My Long Summer Vacation" (part 1 in a 3 part miniseries)
It's Sunday, July 3rd, and the last week has been a blur. I took Step 1 on Monday & got that beast out of the way! I'll find out how I did in six (long) weeks or so. Finishing the boards I embarked on the long journey which was to be my summer vacation. Ok, really, it was only three days. Hopefully I won't repeat much of what Randall has already posted. On Monday we drove to Richmond and Heidi & I showed him around Richmond and then we went to the Taphouse to get Chicken-Pineapple-Brie sandwiches (so, so good). And of course, we had to show Randall the statue of Arthur Ashe, using his tennis racket and book to beat away children who are rising out of the ground.

I hear exciting things are brewing, both from Kevin and from Mark. Can't wait. Meanwhile, a quickie. Kodak says I should try panoramic shots. I figure, why not just use some of the stuff I already have? Here are a few shots from my trip to China, back in March.
The first one... the great wall of China. I had to climb to the top of the tourist section to snap this, and it taught me one thing... I'm out of shape.
